GALERIE LE CHIEN D'OR

QUEBEC/CANADA

February 01, 2026

Partner gallery of ArtBoxy since February 2026.

The famous Galerie Le Chien D'or, whose legend is part of Quebec's cultural heritage, has existed since the late 1970s, although the name dates back much further, to the beginning of the 20th century. Since 2016, the gallery has served as both a creative studio and exhibition space for painter and owners. The gallery also hosts guest artists and organizes events and exhibition openings throughout the year.

Some of the artwork pieces featured in this year's international exhibitions, including Galerie Le Chien d'Or in Quebec City, EXPO MILANO 2026 in Milan, and Casa del Arte Palma in Palma.

This piece suggests movement and a shift - something evolving beneath the surface. It evokes a sense of movement and tension, the turbulent pull between natures forces, energy and flow.

A gentle calm fractured by sharp strokes and broken colours.  It reflects on the fragile nature of peace and how easily it can be disrupted, leaving behind the jagged remnants of emotional unrest.

Silent Vortex

Brings the series to its conclusion. Circular swirls and layered textures create a feeling of quiet turbulence, as the currents twist and ripple through hidden depths. This final piece releases the built-up energy and completes the journey.
